By a Thread is a sculptural triptych that explores the tension between weight and lightness, between grounding and flight.
Three glass balloons, each tethered to a stone block by a metal wire, form a sequence: in the first, gravity prevails; in the second, a fragile balance is reached; in the third, elevation seems to win.
This subtle interplay of forces becomes a metaphor for existence — the inner evolution between resignation and aspiration, reality and transcendence. Each element of the triptych marks a stage on the path toward emancipation — a shift from stillness to movement, from restraint to the possibility of flight.
By suspending the fate of these forms by a single thread, the piece invites us to reflect on our own balance: how far can we rise without breaking what keeps us grounded?
